Should I repair or replace my evaporative air conditioner?
The rule of thumb is, if a cooler is older than 15 years and requires more than a $1000 to be spent on it, we generally recommend a replacement as all repairs have a 12 month warranty, as opposed to the 10 year warranty on a new cooler. There has never been a better time to upgrade than now.
